John Boyd Agricultural and Technology Institute

The John Boyd Agricultural and Technology Institute (hereinafter "Institute") was established in July 2000.  While Mr. Boyd was spearheading the Pigford vs. Glickman class action, he saw the plight and the lack of economic empowerment in rural America.  Moreover, due to Mr. Boyd's personal farming experiences and his consistent interaction with thousands of minority and limited resource farmers, he has come to understand that the development of an economic infrastructure Rural America is essential.  The following is the precepts essential to improving rural communities.
 
To meet the needs of Rural America, the John Boyd Agricultural and Technology Institute (hereinafter "Institute") intends to assist rural communities through three programs:  Adult Education, Outreach, and Agribusiness, while integrating technology as a critical component.
