The House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution will hold an oversight briefing on "Civil Rights in the USDA in Light of the Pigford v. Glickman Settlement."  This briefing will be held on Monday, February 28 at 10:00 a.m. in the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. It is located on 50 East Freedom Way in Cincinnati, Ohio.
 
I would like to invite you to testify at this briefing regarding your thoughts on the state of civil rights in the USDA in light of the Pigford v. Glickman settlement.
 
In order to allow sufficient time for questions at the briefing, you are requested to highlight the most significant points of your written testimony in a five minute presentation. 
 
Please email a copy of your testimony and biography to our counsel, Mindy Barry at mindy.barry@mail.house.gov and to the staff assistant, Rebeccah Ramey at rebeccah.ramey@mail.house.gov by Thursday, February 24.  Please bring two copies of your testimony to the briefing.
